The Sims Team dropped their latest Laundry List, and the September 22 update is a big one. Over 95 bug fixes, better Sim behavior, and some crash fixes too. Here’s the short version.
Sims act smarter now
Sims will finally hold eye contact during conversations instead of looking away. They’ll also use the bathroom sink instead of walking all the way to the kitchen, and low-energy Sims will stop randomly waking up to do random tasks at night. Lovestruck couples will also tone down the public kissing in libraries and other venues.
Big bug fixes
The team squashed around ten crash bugs and fixed several major annoyances. Married Sims won’t revert to “partners” when you open CAS anymore. Interactions getting stuck in a Sim’s queue, especially sleep and group chats, are fixed. Infants won’t pop out of their crib after a reload, and dancing spam from stereos is toned down.
One important note: the top crash cause traced back to outdated mods. Relationship tweaks
Lovestruck and Growing Together both got balance passes. Relationship satisfaction won’t shift for households you’re not playing, romance decays slower, and Sims with bad compatibility will realistically avoid each other more.
What’s next
October’s update focuses on food, dining, and drink, plus a mystery new feature. The team is also hosting a live Dev Q&A in the Sims Discord to go over everything.
