In 2024, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Maxis team on the official The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit. The kit focuses on furniture and decorative pieces for infants and toddlers, designed to bring a cozy storybook atmosphere to nursery spaces in the game.
Part of the inspiration for the kit came from the history of Bella and Mortimer Goth, one of the most iconic families in The Sims. I explored elements from their early years and added small lore inspired details, including Aunt Agnes’s heirloom crib, a hot air balloon featuring Bella Goth, and a wallpaper inspired by Pleasantview from The Sims 2.
The project took around 10 months. I pitched the initial concept for the kit, created visual references, and introduced the lore elements that inspired the theme. Throughout development I collaborated with the EA team, sharing feedback with the creative team to help shape the kit as I envisioned it.
It was an unforgettable experience and a chance to contribute something special to a game that has inspired me for many years.
