I'm excited to present the "Just Another Memory - Photo Album" that I created in collaboration with my friend Thatssojordy as part of the launch of his 🌻GROWING PAINS 🌻 Mod.

I've been wanting to try making a photo album that works as a picture frame, so players can add their own in-game photos. And when Jordy told me about his idea to make one, I jumped right into working on it!

About this CC - Mod Item

We decided to make two types of albums: one that works as a picture frame, and another that's simply a decorative object that Sims can react to when you click on it and select "view photo album.

Important: This is not a mod that includes animation; the photos shown were created using poses.

  • Decorative Photo Album: This item is mainly designed to add a cozy touch to your Sims' home. It comes with different swatches that can fit any story you’re creating with the family you’re playing. Jordy added an option for Sims to react to the album, giving them 3 different moods: Happiness, Embarrassment, and Sadness. This definitely adds a more realistic feel to the idea we had when we wanted to create this object. Note: This feature is available when using the 🌻GROWING PAINS 🌻 mod.

  • Photo Album with Picture Frame Functionality: This item is a bit larger than the first one because the photos Sims take in the game have a default size that I couldn’t adjust. That’s the main reason why you can only place 2 photos in it while keeping a good proportion. Note: This iteam requires Growing Together EP to work.
