The Sims Summer Guide: All the June & July Events

Hey Simmers!

Summer’s just around the corner and EA has lined up a bunch of cool Sims stuff to keep your Sims busy all season long. Grab your iced tea, kick back, and mark these dates in your calendar.

Oh and word on the street is the next expansion might lean into a magical, nature-meets-fairy theme. I won’t spoil the details, but imagine wildflower quests, potion making, and a touch of woodland whimsy, fingers crossed it’s real!

June 5 – Summer Roadmap Reveal

Get the full scoop on what’s coming to The Sims 4 from June through August. EA will lift the curtain on the next wave of Kits, free updates, and seasonal events. Don’t miss it—this is where you’ll learn about all the fun themes headed your way.

June 10 – Make A Splash (The Sims FreePlay)

If you’re on mobile, dive into new poolside goodies in FreePlay. Expect floaties, summery outfits, and a bunch of new ways to help your Sims beat the heat.

All June – Summer Shop Drop

Ready to deck out your Sims’ worlds? The Sims Shop goes full summer mode with limited-time merch and in-game treats all month long.

June 22 – Get Out of Town (The Sims FreePlay)

Time for a virtual staycation! FreePlay’s “Get Out of Town” update will add getaway-style quests and new community lots perfect for road-trip vibes.

July – The Sims Board Game

Ohhh this is new! Bring your Sims obsession to the real world. This summer, EA’s rolling out a brand-new tabletop board game full of plumbobs, needs mechanics, and aspirations you can chase across the kitchen table. Keep an eye out for the official release window.
