The next event for The Sims 4 has been revealed and it’s all about nature

Hey Simmers, get ready to grab your gardening gloves and dust off those woodworking tools, it’s time to head outside and listen to nature’s call in The Sims 4’s brand-new limited-time Event 🌳

What’s happening and when

From June 24, 2025 at 9 a.m. PST to August 5, 2025, your Sims can follow mysterious whispers on the breeze, hone their Handiness skill and unlock a range of nature-inspired rewards.

The story behind the event

One afternoon your Sim catches the faintest voice carried on the wind. It vanishes, but you’ll do anything to hear it again. As you chase that voice through woodland trails and peaceful clearings, you’ll earn event points and free goodies, like the rustic off-grid “Wooden Throne” toilet that’s perfect for a discreet pit stop in the wild.

How to join in

1. Be online and signed into your EA account.
2. Load Live Mode in any household (new or existing) and look for the pop-up that starts your first quests.
3. Click the event icon (the little plumbob) either in Live Mode or on the main menu to open your Event screen.
4. Complete weekly quests and optional objectives to earn Event Points.
5. Claim rewards in Live Mode by selecting Claim on the Event screen; non-consumables also appear in Build Mode, Create-a-Sim or your Sim’s inventory.

Weekly rewards lineup

Over six weeks you’ll unlock four fresh reward drops, with two quests each week for the first four weeks, and a final two-week catch-up period to finish any outstanding tasks.

• Week 4 (July 15 – July 21)
  • Outdoor Wooden Throne toilet
  • Creekrock Decorative Rocks
  • Sturdy Hiking Sandals
  • Touch Grass Weekly #4
• Weeks 5–6 (July 22 – August 5)
  • No new quests added after July 22, but you can still finish past quests and claim any uncollected rewards

Optional objectives for bonus points

If you own certain expansion packs (Cats & Dogs, Snowy Escape, Horse Ranch, or Lovestruck) you’ll see extra quest objectives that award bonus Event Points. These aren’t required to complete the main storyline or earn non-consumable rewards, but they help you unlock consumables faster.

A few pro tips

• Event Points never “spend” down when you claim a reward, they’re cumulative, so you can’t lose progress.
• If you start late, you still have full access to all past weeks’ quests.
• Make sure to claim rewards before August 5 or they’ll disappear.
