You can now browse, buy, and download The Sims 4 Maker Packs directly through the EA app on PC and Mac, without opening the game. EA’s updated Marketplace guide confirms this option, giving you another way to get my Marketplace collections.
As someone creating packs for the Marketplace, I wanted to share this here so you know where to find my work. If you spot a set you like while checking the EA app, you can get it ready for your next play session without waiting for The Sims 4 to load.
How to get Maker Packs through the EA app
- Open the EA app and go to your Library.
- Select The Sims 4.
- Open the Add Ons tab to browse Marketplace content.
- Choose a Maker Pack and purchase it using Moola.
- After purchasing, select Download or Redeem on the pack’s product page.
Moola is the Marketplace currency used to buy Maker Packs, and you can also purchase it through the EA app.
If you need to download a purchased pack later, go to The Sims 4 in your EA app Library, open Overview, and select Manage > Manage add-ons. Find your pack and select Download.

You’ll find sets such as The Little Plant & Garden Shop, my Japandi Home collections, and Cosmic Earrings. If you’re choosing furniture for a particular room or looking for something new for your Sims to wear, it’s a good place to browse my releases before buying.
You can still shop in-game or on the web
The EA app is another option alongside the in-game Marketplace and the web store for PC and Mac players. Console players can browse the web store, but Marketplace purchases need to be made in-game.
