The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit (Official Kit)

In September 2024, I officially announced my collaboration with the MAXIS team, where together we created The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit.

The focus of this Kit is on the littlest members of our households—infants and toddlers—who also deserve a little extra content to decorate their cozy rooms or nurseries.

For the concept of this Kit, I drew inspiration from the story of Bella and Mortimer Goth, the most beloved family in The Sims saga, and the rich lore that the community is always exploring. I’ve always been curious to learn more about them, and I thought it would be a great idea to add some elements from their early years—like Aunt Agnes's heirloom furniture, the iconic hot air balloon featuring Bella Goth, a charming wallpaper inspired by Pleasantview from The Sims 2 and much more!

The Sims team gave me the opportunity to include some lore-inspired details and Easter eggs of MY FAVORITE GAME into MY FAVORITE GAME!!

It was an experience I’ll never forget.

About this Official Kit I worked with EA:

Working with the EA team to develop the Storybook Nursery Kit was an incredible experience and a long process—around 10 months, actually! It all started when I pitched ideas for different kits and themes, followed by selecting the final theme. From there, we moved into the conceptual design phase, working on the furniture designs, modeling, swatches, descriptions, and promotional pictures.
 
There were tons of review meetings, and the team involved was huge—everyone from the global community team, who were amazingly kind, to the lead producer, art director, conceptual artists, 3D artists, and many others behind the scenes. They made me feel like I was truly part of the team, and it was amazing!
 
This experience really made me realize the passion and dedication that The Sims team has for creating content for our beloved game. It was such a rewarding experience.
 
I also want to take this opportunity to thank my beloved community for helping make this possible. Thank you for supporting me and always being there to encourage me to keep creating CC!
