Sims 4 Mods are one of my favorite ways to add more personality and storytelling depth to a save, and this one is really special to me. I’m so excited to finally share the “Just Another Memory” Photo Album, a mini mod I created in collaboration with my friend Thatssojordy as part of the launch of his Growing Pains Mod.
I’d been wanting to make a photo album for a while. Something that actually works as a picture frame so Simmers can display their own in-game photos inside it. When Jordy told me he had the same idea and wanted to build something together, I jumped right into it.
What Is This Sims 4 Mod?
This Photo Album Mod for Sims 4 is a CC and mod combo that brings a functional, decorative photo album into your game. It comes in two versions, each with a different purpose depending on how you want to use it in your builds and stories.
Important: This is not an animated mod. The photos shown in previews were staged using poses.
Decorative Photo Album
This version is designed for atmosphere and storytelling. It adds a cozy, lived-in feel to any home and comes in multiple swatches to fit whatever family story you’re telling. Jordy added a reaction feature so Sims can interact with the album and respond with one of three moods: Happiness, Embarrassment, or Sadness. It gives the object so much more life than I originally imagined.
Note: This feature is available when using the 🌻GROWING PAINS 🌻 mod.
Photo Album with Picture Frame Functionality
This version is slightly larger because in-game photos have a default size I couldn’t adjust while keeping things proportional. It holds 2 photos, which I think looks really clean and balanced. You can display your actual Sims screenshots inside it, which is perfect for storytelling builds and memory-focused gameplay.

I’ve worked on a lot of Sims 4 mods and CC over the years, but collaborating with another creator always pushes the work somewhere new. The Growing Pains Mod by Thatssojordy is honestly one of the most thoughtful family gameplay mods for Sims 4 I’ve come across. It adds a huge range of features across every life stage that make family life feel way more realistic and emotionally rich:
