Sims 4 Laundry List is here, and this one has some really satisfying fixes coming in the next update. If you’ve been dealing with Gallery upload errors, weird photo bugs, or infant delays, you’re not alone.
If you play The Sims 4 a lot, you know the feeling. Something tiny bugs out, you laugh… then it happens again… and again… and suddenly you’re like, okay please, I beg, let my Sim behave for five minutes.
So the new Laundry List dropped and it’s basically a preview of what they’re planning to fix in the next update. And honestly, there are a few things on here that made me go “FINALLY.”
Quick reminder: what a Laundry List is
This is not every single bug ever. It’s more like, “Here are some big issues we know about and we’re working on right now.” Still super helpful to see what’s coming.
Sims 4 Laundry List highlights
- Gallery/Library uploads: The “Server Error” during upload should happen much less often, and the message should be clearer when it does happen.
- Privacy mosaic clothing: They’re finishing the fix so the remaining age groups also show clothing correctly under the mosaic.
- Infant care responsiveness: A specific idle animation was making Sims slow to respond while holding infants, so they removed it.
- Blank memorial and graduation photos: New photos should stop turning blank, but already-broken ones won’t be restored.
- Small Business UI popup: Sims working in the household small business should stop getting “Miss Work/School” popups when they are already at work or school.
Save corruption focused fixes
- Fix for open street objects getting “shelved” and never removed when traveling to an apartment building.
- Fix for a custom venue schedule issue (with Romantic Orientation Role criteria) that could cause endless loading or send you back to Manage Worlds.

Big focus: photos and paintings losing their images
They’re fixing multiple issues where photos, paintings, and autographs can turn blank or lose their image after you reload the game. Some fixes can restore items that already broke, and others mainly prevent the problem from happening again.
CAS items that will show up again
They found 4 CAS items that were hidden and are unlocking them. This includes a corrected hair color variant, a missing rash guard variant, a child hair availability update, and a toddler facepaint item.
Other notable gameplay fixes mentioned
- Away Actions at work/school: Sims should gain Needs properly again, and toddler/infant Needs should increase correctly at daycare.
- Fight interaction: Should only appear when Sims have a negative relationship.
- Seasons: Overheating deaths should stop happening in cases tied to an overheating ghost aura, even when Sims are dressed correctly.
- Growing Together milestone: “Pull to Stand” should be easier to trigger and understand, with better guidance and an interaction tied to using the crib.
- Maids and butlers: Should mop puddles again instead of vacuuming them for a long time without fixing the problem.
Sorting and tagging clean-up (CAS + Build Mode)
They’re fixing a bunch of small categorization issues so items appear in the correct filters more often. Two examples:
- Lump of Clay should sort as a Kids Activity and give Creativity skill to children.
- Stack o Books should sort as a bookshelf and become functional as one.
Issues they’re still investigating (not confirmed for the next patch)
- Console crashes after update 2.13.
- CAS Turn On/Offs UI missing numbers and the like/dislike button.
- Eyelids not closing completely.
- Partnered Sims turning into siblings (they’re still trying to reproduce this, and it may be connected to certain systems and mods).
- Sims obsessively using certain objects.
This Laundry List feels like one of those “thank you, yes, this is exactly what we needed” updates, right?
If you want, tell me which one you’re most excited about. Mine is the infant responsiveness fix!!
