Hey Simmers! A small but handy update just dropped for The Sims 4 on PC/Mac (1.116.223) and console (2.15).
What’s Fixed
- Drag to trash again – Spoiled food (and other junk) can be dragged straight from inventories into sinks or bins.
- Whiteboard works – The “Sharing is Caring” whiteboard is placeable once more.
- Chill gnomes – No more non‑stop wiggling after you set them down.
- Named plants stay named – Upload a lot with garden plants and their labels/evolution info stick.
- Painted Sims & pets hold textures – Custom paint on Sims, cats, dogs, horses, werewolves, and fairies no longer disappears when you switch households.
- Seasons tweak – Gnome gift seed packets now go straight into a Sim’s inventory.
- Console stability – A fix for last week’s crash / stutter.

Getting the Update
- PC/Mac: Open the EA app / Origin ➜ “Update.”
- Console: Check for updates from your home screen; it should auto‑download.
Quick Tips Before You Play
- Back up your saves if you use mods.
- Keep an eye on mod‑status threads to see what needs updating.
- Test Live‑Drag on any custom objects you’ve made just in case.
