Tips for Shopping The Sims and EA Black Friday Sale 2025
When I look at this year’s sale, I think the smartest place to start is with the packs that are 60 percent off. These expansions change the game the most. After that, I usually grab one of the packs with a 50 percent discount to round out the worlds or add a system I feel I’m missing.
For Game Packs, I always recommend choosing something that truly fits how you play. For example, Parenthood is still one of my favorites if you enjoy storytelling with families, and Dream Home Decorator is perfect if you like building or decorating. Stuff Packs are usually the last thing I pick up just because they’re already the cheapest, and it’s easy to grab a couple of them at the end without overspending.
And one last thing that sounds obvious but we all forget sometimes: check your EA library before you buy anything. It saves the headache of realizing you already owned the pack you just purchased. (It happened to me once!)
