We have some magical news today. Fairies have fluttered into The Sims 4 with the new Enchanted by Nature Expansion Pack, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true for so many Simmers and that’s something I like.
🌙 Meet the Fairies
To start your Fairy adventure, your Sims will need help from Mother Nature. She’s the one giving them their magical powers using the water of her Moondrop Springs. But this is only the start of everything they can do.
These new Fairies are very different from the ones we had back in The Sims 3. In The Sims 4, Fairies aren’t just mischievous tricksters. They’re emotional beings with a new Emotional Force need to survive. They can even influence another Sim’s emotions, bottle them up, and keep them for later!
✨ Fairy Life Paths
Fairies can choose from two different aspirations:
- Harmonious Fairy: for Fairies who love nurturing nature, growing dreamlike gardens, and awakening gnomes to help with daily chores.
- Discordant Fairy: for those who want to stir up a bit of mischief by manipulating moods and causing playful ailments.
And even if your Sim isn’t a Fairy, they can still use Fairy Dust to enchant plants or wake up gnomes to help around the house. Cool, right?
🏡 Tiny Fairy Homes
Remember how in The Sims 3, Fairies would become glowing orbs to go inside their tiny homes? Now in The Sims 4, Fairies scale down to pocket-size versions of themselves to enter their cute little houses. Honestly, I can’t wait to see this in-game.
🦋 All About Fairy Wings
One of the best parts is the wings! In The Sims 4, they’re fully animated to match your Fairy’s body movements. Here are some of the improvements:
- Wings move realistically while hovering, flying, or gliding.
- They even match different emotions, like fluttering desperately during sad moments.
- There are different motions for different wing types like butterfly wings swooping gracefully and dragonfly wings fluttering super fast.
And yes, there are so many wing shapes, sizes, and colors to choose from, from big shiny wings to tiny transparent ones.
🧝 Customize Your Fairy
You’ll find tons of new customization options for your Fairies, including:
- 9 new skin tones
- 18 new eye colors
- 3 new pointed ear shapes
- 3 new fantasy nose shapes
- 2 sets of teeth
- Glowing tattoos that shine at night
- Face paints and accessories
👑 New Create A Sim Features for Everyone
Not just for Fairies! The new Head Decorations category adds horns, antlers, leafy diadems, and flower crowns. Plus, there’s a Skin Highlight option to give Sims a shiny gloss effect, customizable for any outfit and skin tone.
