Today a free update for The Sims 4 has rolled out across all platforms. Here’s what you need to know:

Cluttered Spaces Fix
Several objects that were mistakenly hidden from Build/Buy under the Clutter category now appear correctly. You’ll find cookie jars, cereal boxes, grocery bags, kitchen timers, recipe tablets, drying racks, fridge magnets and more all listed as Clutter once again.
Elder Wear Layering
Elder Sims were experiencing clipping issues when wearing certain layered outfits, eyeglasses or toupees. This patch smooths out all those clothing layers so late-life style looks exactly as intended.
Top Community-Reported Bug Fixes
This update tackles the highest-voted issues from our April 24 Laundry List. Among the key fixes:
- Plant-watering – “Water All” and “Tend Garden” interactions now consistently work.
- Teen aging trait – Teenage Sims will once again gain their full third trait when they age up.
- Vampire child eyes – Child Sims’ custom vampire eyes no longer revert to default.
- High school event tasks – Secondary active teen Sims now see their Festival and Homecoming tasks correctly.
- Miscellaneous – Side-bar linking in Lessons, hovertip speed in the HUD, and other small UI tweaks have been addressed.
